Are there any conditions, emotional or otherwise, under which you find it especially challenging to write?

Ugh, work! Work needs so much concentration that I'm usually quite flat when I sit down to write. But there's always editing, like tonight.

I didn't write new words but I edited 2k of old words and they're better for it.
