Sometimes, the temptation to fiddle is overwhelming, isn't it? For me, sometimes I find myself fiddling when I'm uncertain or dragging my feet about writing new parts. Sometimes, of course, fiddling resolves an internal sense of "something's wrong with this, and I need to fix it before I can go any further." I don't know...I used to be strictly a NaNo-model kind of writer (get the words out, don't worry about their quality until later), but I think I've moved past that now. I don't know...

Anyway, that's just me musing. Sorry to ramble! I hope you find what you're fixing is making the rest of the writing easier for you. :-)
