Thank you! I love your wording about the cut scenes, admiring is lovely! Usually I'm also keeping such parts, but not this time after most of it'll show up in retrospective in the epilogue. But I really love a concept I've once seen with an author: they created "DVD extras" in their journal as well as added another chapter to their fic with the "deletec scenes". In the "extras" they also talked about things related to the creation of the fic, inspirations, linked to sources, images and even inspiring music. I found this really awesome! Of course, many of us do this or something similar during the process of the writing, to interact with our friends and flisties. I don't know but they might have done the same, of course. But what I found after reading that fic was really intended for any reader to read/see after reading the fic.

Go you for rewriting to give you time to think about your fic, that's an important part of the creation process. Of course betaing counts! Anything we're doing about writing is contributing to our own writing, and has earned its rigthful place among what counts for progress. ♥
