We were gone for most of Day 17, hiking and gawking at the magnificent scenery, but I did write a bit more of Chapter 17 before we left the cabin for the day’s adventures.

Jul 17: got the first installment of beta comments back, and made the easy edits. And wrote another page or so of longhand on the new story, continuing to feel out what might make it go.

I've been checking in pretty sporadically, but still writing every day. Just alibi sentences right before I fall into bed, but hanging in by my fingernails!
