ysilme here: 145 words all in all for me for yesterday. Today I haven't started proper writing yet, but I've spent a surprising amount of time on the B2MeM preparations - finally chose my 10 (not 15, my bad) allowed bingo cards, getting the text-only versions and bringing them in a practical order so I'll know at one glance which prompts go with what number and so on. Because I know myself well enough to know that I'll be so crazy stupid enthusiastic enough to try to use them all if possible. (Ok, to be completely honest I procrastinated like whoa to distract me from some stupid shit going on at my volunteeer job. I'm not involved or affected, but people I care for are, involving major changes for them no matter how it ends. But at least the proctrastination was productive. Several plot bunnies went off to make nests for breeding.)

sylvanwitch here: 1036 on the ambush project. I crossed the 40K line today. Phew!

Oh, I read the article about queer representation in fiction over the years linked in the new metafandom, and it got me thinking about the Rose of the Prophet series that came out in '89. To the present day reader, it leaves a lot to be desired. At the time, I found it absolutely mind blowing. I'll link when I'm finished droning at length about it if you want.
