Thank you! The expanded fic is coming along, but I don't know if it'll be ready to post this week so I might just have to post the short version to the challenge community then keep working on the longer one until I'm happy with it.

A blog post today. I have plans to add some more words to the story tonight, but even if I don't manage that I'm going to say that words happened today.

On Day 19, we did a 5.37 mile hike in the Clyburn Valley, and it was incredibly beautiful and brutally hot, but we did it! Now, my feet are thankful it's going to be raining tomorrow, so we can take the day off (except for souvenir shopping--yay!). I just finished 1004 words of trip report, so I am counting that for today's words.

Now I'm going hiking and won't have internet until Sunday evening, so no reporting in and probably no writing.
