ysilme here: I've been mostly editing today, but also got 71 new words for the fannish WIP (plus painted another bit of the facade and am just making home-made "soup cube" preserves (I've no idea what this is called in English, you use a table-spoon of it with half a litre of water to make vegetable broth) as well as vegetable stock.)

sylvanwitch here: I added 449 mostly creepy words to the story that is actually being written, thank you very much. It's Stargate: Atlantis, Rodney's POV, and continues to be an immensely surprising TOTAL JOY to write. These kind of surprises I could get used to. (I won't. I know better. But I could. ;-)

I got to the end of firelight ch 5 yesterday, which is a few hundred words shy of 30K altogether. I'm now rereading from the top to make sure I haven't contradicted myself anywhere on accident (there are places I'm doing it on purpose) and trying to sort out the order of the ch 6 plot points. (One of which is going to have to be the instant replay of the planned ch 5 plot point that got skipped because I had him head upstairs immediately instead of watching the plot point happen in real time.)

Day 24: 632 words for a completed scene today! just two-ish scenes left to go and then I'll be done!

With the laptop back today was mostly just typing up a few longhand bits and moving things from the phone or tablet to the Libre Office docs on the laptop.

Day 24 - 250ish words on Lamps/Hostages, still Elrond POV. Definitely still Elrond yay! Maybe tomorrow I'll take thought for the SWG challenge piece, and the Amnesty for fan flashworks.

Ysilme, I think you mean bouillon cubes (after I read that as SOAP three times and wondering why you were putting it in broth). Sylvan, glad you're enjoying your story.

I got 370 words on Spook_me. And on yet another Prodigal Son comment Fic I shouldn't be writing I got 1286 words. Brain you're a jerk (and also Malcolm Bright can stop making me his bitch any time now)

Still squeezing some words into a busy schedule!

It feels surprisingly good to be taking this project seriously enough to work on it even when I don't really have time to.

Day 25: I spent most of the day revising my time travel fic, added 423 net words, and I think it's ready for beta now. Phew! (The rest of my to-do list is glaring at me, but oh well. *shrug*)

Day 24 - spent my allotted time beta-ing a fic. It was good to look at someone else's writing style, and to think about the writing process.

The time management skills improved in that I wasn't yet horribly tired when I started writing, even if it was too late for a long writing session. I remembered having signed up for the historium bingo and had an idea for one of my bingo squares, so I managed to start a fic for that. Not an awful lot of it yet, but still! And in the spirit of writing at least something, I also added a few sentences to my novel.

ysilme, I'm not sure what that's called in English either, but it might be bouillon? Though that's French. :-D Sounds like you're getting many home things done!

Put in some more words on Grief, where it continues to be "plot in a couple sentences, commentary on these paragraphs here and there that worldbuild in terrible ways." It's still nice having a plot that doesn't cause large amounts of WTFery on its own, and then have to do the worldbuilding WTF on top of that.

Checking in for the past three days, sorry. So for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th, I worked (hard!) on the nonfiction project, and have been continuing the experiment of writing by hand, which has been soothing, probably because I'm on the computer all day with the other project. I've averaged about 700 words a day, in several sessions each.

"Mostly creepy" *giggles* It sounds so lovely that you have this going on! I really hope this kind of surprise is going to be a frequent occurence for you. ♥
I finished the day yesterday with 140 more words on my WIP, plus over an hour editing for the Christmas story project.
