ysilme here: that Christmas story seems about to be happening after all. The last idea finally took root, and I've about 100 words so far I think I'll keep. I still don't know if it leads somewhere useable for the purpose, but at least something is happening. :o)

sylvanwitch here: Today, I absolutely did not write 266 words of that SGA story I'm not writing. ;-) Otherwise, it was a day of grading, writing of college recommendation letters, and an evening obligation at work. *sighs*

Day 7: 746 words today, and the fic is rolling along nicely!

Almost an hour of writing time today. A lot of it trying to define the ever-elusive structure (it would help if I'd any idea how I'm going to rewrite the last 1/3 of the story). Got two pages of longhand in on a new scene.

If not for writing during an exam today jack would have gotten done. 985 words on my IWRY story

Oct 7: Lots of adulting today (job interview!), so alibi sentence.

Day 6, I did a Babylon 5 update at 621 and a rewatch post for 472 words. Today I did 296 on a ficlet for spooktober.

Day 7 -- 100+ more words on the indulgent thing (still title-less) and a poem for Fan Flashworks.

Day 7: 2050 words, which is especially nice because I was sure it was going to be an alibi sentence sort of day.

I only got to writing when it was late and I was tired, due to all the other programming (plus a book that kept stealing my attention), but I did add some sentences of fic and some sentences of novel, so that's something. Even if I don't know if the fic is going anywhere - it just keeps having internal monologue rather than any dialogue or events.

Day 8: 538 words on the same (hopefully) flashfic. :-)

Checking in for day 8: I wrote around 500 words of ending ughhhhhh. Endings are hard.

Day 5: snuck away to write an alibi sentence and ended up with two paragraphs in my notebook.

Days 6 and 7 were spent with friends and family, and I didn't even try to fit in some writing time.

Day 8: Typed up the words from Day 5 (79 - mustn't count them twice) and added another 131 words.

Boo on evening obligations, I think that should be prohibited. ;o) But go you for no words on the story you're not writing! ^^ (You have the cutest project names for your works! Ambush story, the story you're not writing... ♥ )
I added some 160 more words to my OS draft last night, and now have a skeleton of a story with a beginning and a possible end. Yay?

Day 7 meant checking an assignment for autocucumber and typos, and then posting it, and then grinding out a post that could be summarized as "WTF" but needs more than just that to explain it properly, covering just the first half of a super-long chapter in the source.

I came up with some names for characters, but they're not my characters so I'm not sure it counts?

Hope this isn't too late -- I fell asleep early last night, then started baking bread first thing in the morning and forgot to check in. Oops.

Not much to report -- worked on the nonfiction project and noodled on the fic I'm trying to write for fan_flashworks. Not sure if it's working. We'll see.
