sylvanwitch here: I edited the story I finished yesterday, adding and subtracting--mostly tightening. I'm going to let it sit for a day or two and then send it in. The deadline for submissions fast approaches!

Yes, it does, especially the older one. I wrote that back in 2017, but because I wasn't happy with it, it only got posted to the challenge it was written for. I've been trying for the last couple of months to clear out some of the older fics that have have been lurking for years, all of which needed some work.

The longer fic started life as a drabble but it quickly became clear it was never going to be drabble length, and I didn't have an ending for it. Yesterday, I had another bash at it and an ending came to me, so YAY!
