Let us know if we missed you or if you didn't check in for a while, so we can add you. Of course joining the fun is possible at any point.

[personal profile] ysilme here: my life is currently being eaten up both by a major renovation project (not our house) and large changes at my voluntary job, and I took a kind of writing break for the last five or six weeks; I still wrote every day but without focus on anything specific, and more often than not only alibi sentences. My current goal is to slowly ease back into more focused writing while still having considerably less time and energy for writing, but without making any specific plans yet to not give myself pressure. ;op

[personal profile] sylvanwitch here: Better late than never, I'm reporting 456 words on "Ed and Ev Are Not in Love," the m/m second-chances romance novella I've been working on for a few months now. I keep meaning to end it, and it keeps not ending. Maybe this month is the one?

Hello hello! :D I have no specific writing goals this month beyond like. Writing. xD Most of the writing I've been doing lately has been text rp, which I do think counts but is a different vibe than single-author stories, y'know?

Day 1: text rp xD

I think I should have the goal of finishing this Silly Story That Has Taken Over My Life so that I can finally move on.

(No word count yet, because I'm nibbling at it off and on between chores.)

Using your neverending story as a break between chores seems like a very wise course of action to me. Good luck with your goal of finishing it!

Hello again, thanks for hosting!

I'm not currently willing to give myself a goal beyond trying to hit my inkingitout wordcount for the month. I would love to get myself into a place where all the writing is something that moves the damn novel forward but I think that's a longer-term goal.

Day 1: two alibi sentences.

Hi! This month I'm trying to focus on one WIP, rather than spreading my time among all my WIPs.

Day 1: 1070 words of "Madame Park's Academy." One complete scene today, opening the door to a major plotline, bringing to the foreground some things that had been in the background of earlier chapters.

The last couple of months I haven't been doing the "every day" part of Write Every Day, because reasons, but I'm thinking maybe I want to start writing every day again, at least for this month.

(She says, with full acknowledgement that THIS week might not be the best week to start up again.)

March 1: Alibi sentence -- two of them, even!

Hi. The last week has been kind of a wash for writing--I was a bit stuck on my longfic and also I've just been really busy. I didn't get any writing done on the 1st, but I hope to write today on the 2nd since I've got a long bus journey. My goal this week is to finish the next chapter of my longfic.

I see I said "week" but I think I meant "month". That's certainly more realistic...

Hi, you two! Hi! I'm here! :-)

My goals for the month are a) keep up my flashfic streak on [community profile] fan_flashworks and b) finish a Guardian fic that I've been working on for over a year.

1st & 2nd: edits and title for a flashfic (I posted it 6 minutes before deadline, phew!), and a metric ton of beta.

[personal profile] ysilme: wishing you all the best getting your writing focus back. <3 <3 <3

Hello! Thanks for hosting, it's great to be back here!

My writing this month is going to be gradually getting down to lower work counts than last month, I got a bit carried away at [community profile] threesentenceficathon and wrote SO MANY fills, the rest of the year is likely to be spent turning them into ficlets for posting, in between writing for other challenges, but I should hit my GYWO goal by the end of the month anyway. How did THAT happen?

March 1st - 2944 words. Started a challenge fic (which I hope to finish at least the first draft of today), and 5 ficathon fills. Technically, they were written the night before, but too late to be counted for that day. I've been doing that for about 6 weeks, carrying the ficathon fills over for the next day's total.

Thank you! I've really been surprising myself with my word counts so far this year, but they'll be gradually getting lower now that I'm so far ahead of myself, I need to make time for other things, there's a lot I want to do in the garden, and I'm knitting an Aran jacket as well.

Still a lot of writing I want to do as well though...

I'll try to do some writing on different project, let's see how much I actually manage. There are many unfinished fics, fic ideas and other unfinished writing projects laying around on my various devices. There is this one fic I really need to get out of my mind, let's see if I can actually manage it.

Go you for your wordcount on Saturday! *\O/* I keep my fingers crossed that the novella is now ready and willing to end - I know that feeling of something simply not wanting to be written... *g* I hope you forgive me for having laughed out loud at your phrasing of this, though! :o)
