Welcome to another round of the Write every day challenge! Taking over from
trobadora, we (
sylvanwitch and
ysilme ) are going to host this month together in this journal we created for this purpose. We hope nobody is having any problems with this. Please don't hesitate to talk to us if you have any questions!
Instead of explaining about the challenge in this first post of the month, we have a sticky entry
here.
I'm putting this up early (in fact, just after midnight CET ^^ ) as I'm going to travel on the 2nd and will be busy with preparations tomorrow, and with my luck with such things I'll end up having an internet outage when leaving the posting until the evening. I'm going to add my own tally later, too.
So off we go with the first day of the new month! May our collective muses be kind and accommodating and our writing mojo strong! Do any of you have specific goals for the month, challenges waiting for you, or specific plans? And if you like, tell us how your start into the new writing year went, and if you're happy with your progress so far.
Ysilme
sylvanwitch here just checking in with my own progress for the day. *sighs* Having three days off for the weather SHOULD mean I get more done, right? *grins* And I am getting plenty of stuff done--housework, emails. But writing? Not so much. The good news is that I've finally finished the rough draft of the 15-character meme story I've been working on since Monday. I'll go over that tomorrow and post it. AND, I've promised myself a real writing day this weekend, when I can dedicate several hours to the ambush project, as I call it, so that I can get back to the lesbian space opera (LSO) that I started last year. So, that's the plan for this month.
ysilme here, adding my own tally. I managed 166 words, thanks to a brand new drawer fic idea. Considering the power-cleaning and -packing I had to do, it was pure procrastination, of course, but also a decent enough amount. *g*
