Looking for input on a WED question

ysilme and I came to the Write Every Day challenge after its inception, so we do not know if there are rules, written or otherwise, about this subject and do not feel qualified to be arbiters in the matter.
So, I ask you, WED participants--founders, regulars, and newbies alike--what say you regarding the question of vidding counting for someone's daily quota for the purposes of this community?
