Welcome to the Write Every Day challenge in March 2021! Taking over from [personal profile] carenejeans, we, [personal profile] sylvanwitch and [personal profile] ysilme, are going to host the challenge together in this joint account.

If you're new to the challenge and want to know what this is about, unsure if you want to join, or are just curious, please check out our intro post. There's also a hosting list if you want to check up on older rounds, or see if somebody already volunteered for hosting in the future.

The joint hosting works just like your regular challenge with daily tally entries, except that we'll both put our personal tallies into the main post but at different times due to different time zones, as we're in the U.S. and Germany. So if you're curious how our respective writing days went, we invite you to check again later or on the next day. :o)

For our convenience, we kindly ask you to always check in with the most recent post, no matter for what day(s);  just state the dates of additional days you're checking in for. Please don't use "yesterday" or so as this might be misleading due to time zone differences. Thank you!

There will be a rec-your-fic and rec-your-favourite post throughout the month. You can find the older ones by the links in the link list of the journal on the top right.

So, happy writing, everyone, we're looking forward to sharing this round with you!

Welcome everybody to another round of WED! If you like to share, tell us about your goals for the upcoming month and what you're up to writing-wise.
Please don't hesitate to ask [personal profile] sylvanwitch or [personal profile] ysilme any questions you have.

Tally:
Welcome post

Let us know if we missed you or if you didn't check in for a while, so we can add you. Of course joining the fun is possible at any point.

[personal profile] ysilme here: writing got a bit in the background for me in the last two weeks due to a large gardening project; we upgraded our previous contaniner vegetable gardening to proper veggie beds in raised frames; and constructing and filling these left my hands too tired and for typing more than an alibi sentence on most days. My main goal is getting back on track and continuing to work on two current smaller WIPs. I also signed up for writing treats for the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang, and am currently checking the art gallery for possible ideas.

[personal profile] sylvanwitch here: I added 212 to the story I've been working on for the past few days. I had gardening to do, so I stopped mid-final-scene. I want to 'stick the landing,' so I'm going to wait until tomorrow to finish the first draft. I haven't got too many words left to go. This is the first time I've written a story tailored to a specific market. Typically, I write a story and then hope I can find somewhere to place it. There's no guarantee that this one will be accepted, of course, but since I first heard about the project, I've wanted to be a part of it, so we'll see. (That's all I'm saying because I'm superstitious, not because I'm being coy. :-)
