Write every day! - January 2020 - Welcome

Happy New Year to you all! May it be successful and satisfying in everything you aim for, but of course particularly in writing!

Welcome to the first round of the Write Every Day challenge of 2020. Taking over from bladespark, sylvanwitch and I, ysilme, will host the challenge together this month in this joint account.

If you're new to the challenge and want to know what this is about, unsure if you want to join, or are just curious, please check out our intro post.

The joint hosting works just like your regular challenge with daily tally entries, except that we'll both put our personal tallies into the main post but at different times due to different time zones, as we're in the U.S. and Germany. So if you're curious how our respective writing days went, we invite you to check again later or on the next day. :o)

If you're reporting your tally not for the day of the entry, like, want to report for the 19th or 21st on the entry for day 20, please state for which date it is instead of using 'yesterday' or similar; since we're spread over different time zones this gets easily confusing. We'd also like to ask you to always report your tally on the most recent entry, no matter for what day; it's easier to not miss a comment this way. Thank you!
