Stepping in for WED March 2021 Day 1

Hi everybody,

I just read at cornerofmadness 's that she's unexpectedly without a computer, so until she's back up to posting I'll volunteer to host this month here at zwei_hexen . I'm about to fall into bed so just have a quick post for the moment to report your tallies; I'll put the usual stuff in tomorrow morning. (Ysilme)

For my check-in today (3/1), I wrote a silly, porny little H50 fic for yet another of my personal prompts bingo squares. It came in at 474 words. I'll finish it up tomorrow, so I can be sure to stick the landing. For now, I'm pooped.

Today I wrote 2.5k in one sitting for a fic I hadn't even thought about writing until I woke up this morning. xD And then I decided I liked it enough to post it, and other people liked it too? So that's cool.

I wrote a few sentences on a spn fic that I've been writing on and off since November. It's close to hitting 3k, but this draft is going to need a lot of editing.

March 1: Almost caught up with my typing. Tomorrow or Wednesday I'm going to have to write the nebulous bits that are lurking trying to derail everything / make everything better, we'll see which it is later.

Mar 1 - 100 words on a 10th drabble for Fan Flashworks amnesty. Which was also for the first day of B2MEM. Now I need to put the relevant drabbles together & see if anything is missing, and post the lot for the Silmarillion Writer's Guild Days of Bliss challenge.

Ugh, climbing back on the horse is SO hard sometimes, isn't it? But one sentence a day IS a routine that builds writing muscles, so I'm hopeful that you find that to be true for you and am sending you ALL the good word energy! :-)

Day 1: I wrote a List, which seems to be the way I write these days. I start writing a list and keep going until it turns into something... This one was more of a first-of-the-month To-Do list for writing projects, but it did zero in on a couple of things to focus on.

Excellent! I like that process. I'm a list-maker myself, so I appreciate how it can generate other things! Good luck!

I did WED in November and it was significantly helpful in helping me, well, write every day! So I'm doing it again in March as I work on my nonfiction book. Thank you for hosting it.

My daily goal is 400 words. Yesterday (Day 1) I wrote 580.
