Let us know if we missed you or if you didn't check in for a while, so we can add you. Of course joining the fun is possible at any point.

[personal profile] ysilme here: alibi sentence.

[personal profile] sylvanwitch here: I added 435 words to "Ed and Ev Are Not in Love" and somehow arrived at an ending. I can't believe it's finished. I mean, it's rough, and I'll have some work to do to beat it into shape, but this project has been my emotional support story for a good while now, and I have Feelings about being finished with the first draft.

March 2nd - 2398 words. More work on yesterday's fic, which is NOT finished, it needs at least one more scene, but I'm very pleased with what I've written today, it's coming together well. Also, three ficathon fills.

Thank you! There will be less today, but still a decent amount, I hope.

Considering the current state of my garden, I'll need it. There's a lot I want to tackle this year, weather permitting, which, this being England, is never guaranteed. The last two summers have been miserably wet and cold.

Congrats on all those amazing words! Also, referring to your comment yesterday, congrats to many and many 3SF fills! *\O/* I was super inspired myself and had Ideas, but the renovation project came in-between, so I haven't written more than a few rough drafts and that was that. But I've got the plotbunnies safe and secure. ;op Good luck with your plans with them over the year, and welcome back to WED at [personal profile] zwei_hexen!

Thank you!

3SF is still open for fills, so if you get your rough drafts into posting shape you can still post them. I'm still writing a few fills, because it's fun and there are some great prompts I haven't had a go at yet, but I'm not doing five a day anymore, lol!

Thank you, I'm happy to be here!

I know, I just don't see myself doing that kind of focused writing any time in the near future; my mind is occupied with drywall installation, plastering, painting and such. ;op

Not to worry, maybe you'll get them finished before next year's event. Right now, I'm not surprised you're distracted with so much going on! I hope the renovations go smoothly.

Yay for ysilme's alibi sentence, and for sylvanwitch's story ending (and best of luck navigating those feelings)! \o/!!

3rd: edited my flashfic and archived it to AO3. Now to figure out what to write for the current round ("Sign")... Hopefully something shorter!

Welcome back to this round with us, and thank you! This is the first time since I started WED that I had so little time and mental space for any kind of writing, and I was really worrying it would throw me out of the habit as well as the inspiration, as it has happened before a few times. But the alibi sentences did their job just nicely, and now that I'm slowly getting used to the new schedule (whcih is SO against my biorythm ) the inspiration is starting to wake again, too.

Yay for finishing and posting your flashfic! I hope your muse is more gentle with you this time, too. *hugs*

Oh my goodness, it's finished? Yay!!!! ***\O/*** (and here I was just commenting on your commment yesterday, wishing for a speedy finishing - I never expected it to be THAT speedy! *lol* I should've read today's comments first. ^^ )
I feel you so hard for the emotional support story (my drawer fics usually take over this role, and the last one supported me over a year during the bad time with my MIL). Sending lots and lots of sympathies and support to deal with the situation! *hugs*

My year's goal is to edit the last two m/m romance novels I wrote, so I guess that's next on my list, but I am *so* going to miss Ed and Ev.

I feel you! ♥ But [personal profile] carenejeans is right, too; there are allll those revisions!!! Also, something I once saw a fanfic author doing and rather love: they did all kinds of "extras" stuff, like on an extra DVD - deleted scenes, talking about the creation progress, the "casting" and whatnot... they did it on their DW and publicly, as in everybody who found it had access to it, but one can also always do that just for oneself. I've started doing it at times, although mostly for exchange stories I'm not fully satisfied with because I ran out of time (as happened so often), so I added small scenes or vignettes just for my own enjoyment and to spend more time with my characters. I suppose you could also always write a sequel, or something else where they feature in the background... :o)
But for the time being, all the sympathies and many *hugs* for the I-finished-the-story-hangover! ♥

Day 2: Ugh, I failed to write. I did have a long bus trip, but I had a LOT of stuff I needed to do, and since I'm slightly stuck I didn't manage an alibi sentence. Better luck today...

Or wait, no. One of those things I needed to do was beta read a fic, and then I had a Zoom meeting about that. So I'm going to count that.
