sylvanwitch here: Today turned out to be busier than I'd expected. The half-day of teaching I'd planned for, but the afternoon and early evening got swallowed up in running errands. As a quick meal cooks in the oven, I managed to add 118 words to the revised chapter one.

ysilme here: 288 words on the drawer fic.

Welcome back! Congrats for words happening for you, and all the luck with dragging you back! I can fully relate right now; I'm also dragging myself back into regular coherent creative writing after months and months of mostly nonfic with alibi sentences and only rare spouts of a paragraph or more.

Thanks! The - to me - most bizarre thing about it is that I'm writing in a fandom and type of fandom I've never written before and read nearly no fanfics either: a video game fandom, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, and mainly because I'm currently on a new re-play (heavily modded). And by now it's also inspired some serious crack crossover with my main fandom, the Tolkienverse... /o\ The odd snippet for threesentenceficathon might result from that, but I'm not sure yet.

Thanks! It really is a fun project, because I'm getting to see in detail how I improved as a writer from the time I started the original fic until the time I finished it, and then also to see how I'm improved since the time I finished the original fic. Until I did this, I never would have imagined I'd enjoy and benefit from reworking one of my old fics like this.
