Do you have a favorite part of the whole writing process? Does research make you happy?
Do you adore a good outline? Is the first draft your fave? Do you love a good line-edit?
While I enjoy research and outlining, my favorite part is definitely the first draft, though second and subsequent drafts, edited for plot changes, come in a close second. I like figuring my way out of a good plot problem, for example, which usually becomes more apparent on the second round of writing. But nothing beats the exhilaration of a scene coming together from scratch, at least not for me.

~ ~ ~
ysilme here: today was a good writing day; 1,8k of fic, with nearly 1k again on my phone in the morning.
sylvanwitch here: I had a school function and then a faculty dinner afterwards, but I did write in the early afternoon before getting gussied up and going out. I got in another 741 words on the H50 fanfic. Still loving it a LOT.
