ysilme here: we're having a few rain-free days again, so I'm back to painting the house. I found writing time even so, ending up with over 1k of meta today, as well as nearly 300 new words for the Christmas story. I'm in the process of re-writing the middle part, and have now about 3/4 of finished fic, which is a good result.

sylvanwitch here: Just home from a day of eating, browsing and shopping, strolling, talking (a LOT), eating some more, and generally having a relaxing, wonderful time with my BF and with T. This morning before we left, inspired by all the construction we came through on our way down last night, I wrote a 600+ word poem about a suburban witch stuck in traffic. I'm really pleased with it, and I feel like traveling, for as fraught as it is with difficult moments for me, contributes so much to my creative energy. Does anyone else experience that?
