ysilme here: I'm still running a fever, but was able to sit up for a while in the morning, so managed to work a bit at my NaNo prep and get down 279 new words. What vexes me is that I so don't feel like writing NaNo right now, and just hope the energy for that kind of writing will come to me quickly. (At least I can keep food down again, so there's hope ;oP ) Due to being sick I also didn't manage to get sufficient preparation in, so this looks like it's going to be much more pantsing than I'm comfortable with... well, it can't be helped. The clock just turned midnight, so off I go. Good luck to my fellow NaNoers!

Here, it's still Samhain, which we're "celebrating" by having wicked, wicked weather. We're expecting 60mph+ winds and have had torrential rain for hours. If a house lands on me, avenge me via flying monkey, please! I added 338 words of notes to the short story idea I began fiddling with yesterday. It's going in directions I hadn't expected, and I'm not quite sure it knows what it wants to be when it grows up, but it's an interesting idea, so I'm giving it some rope.
Thank you for a great month, WED! I'm looking forward to the next month with silveradept.
