ysilme here: 28 words, which are the titles/prompts I put on my moodboards. I finished the four other ones I'd planned and am really happy how they came out, but they took up all of today's writing time. OTOH there are a few plotbunnies breeding, inspired by some of the images I used, so this feels like a really creative writing day, no matter the outcome. Sorry for not providing a writing quote again today, but I haven't made any in advance and simply didn't manage.

sylvanwitch here: 213 words on "The Factory," one of the *three* stories (I think I said two in the goals post for 1 July) I'm working on simultaneously. This is unusual for me--I typically work on only one story at a time--and I feel really scattered and unproductive, but it was a rough day, real-life-wise, and I'm fortunate to have this much focus. ;-)

July 5th - 600 words, the other three double drabbles I was supposed to write yesterday. And I still got a couple of hours in the garden!

I really need to work out there whenever the weather allows. I have two medium sized trees/shrubs that need removing but I have to make sure the tree guys can actually get to them.

That sounds like a lot of work, and I hope you're successful without too much strain!

It is definitely a lot of work. I've had to move a pile of logs, shovel piles of earth of the path, clear all around the greenhouse where there were brambles and junk... But I'm getting there.

ysilme - Moodboards are definitely a part of plotting/ideating on stories! :D I'm glad you had fun!

sylvanwitch - Switching between a bunch of stories when you usually don't is impressive! Good job on the words! <3

Day 5: Finished up editing my minibang fic and sent it back to beta! Also wrote out a chatfic summary of an AU story I'm not going to actually write but wanted to share with friends.

Day 5: loooong day at work, so only managed 377 words on WIP 1 and 150 words on WIP 2 tonight.

5 July -- Work took all my brain today, but I did manage 50ish words on the same scene as yesterday. Better than no words!

luzula has been checking in for me, but we're not in the same place any more, so I must do it myself :)

Day 1: 400 words

Day 5: 614 words

Goals for July are to finish a long fic (I'm at about 65k words of 72k) and write a fic for pod_together.

I'm also working on multiple stories at once, as you see, and it does feel scattered and unproductive sometimes. But it has the big advantage that if I feel stuck on one, I just switch to the other!

That moodboard sounds amazing and very inspirational!

I like your attitude toward writing on more than one story at a time. It's a positive spin on what does sometimes feel disorganized to me.

Day 6: 1475 words of case stuff, this chapter is absurdly long, but hey, I finished a scene, and... have no idea what happens next. (Why did I decide to make each chapter a whole day of in-story time? Somehow I have to get the main character to midnight before I can switch out! /o\)

Days 3-5b have been mostly working on trying to put another Director's Cut of meta in the books, do some signups, and ramble on at length at sunshine_challenge. The Director's Cut stuff always takes longer than I think it does.

I was on the train the whole day on the 5th and suffering Deutsche Bahn's delays (seriously, one cancelled train and two delayed ones?). Though now in Denmark there is also a cancelled train, sigh. I got about 200 words on my short fic which is close to done, I just need to find a good note to end on. Also I did editing on my longfic following feedback from garonne.
