ysilme here: 176 words for me today, possibly more; for once I'm not too tired to continue at this hour. I was mostly busy with digital tidying and maintenance of fannish, volunteer job and adulting stuff, and time just flew away. On the other hand, doing a bunch of these little things makes me always feel accomplished, so it's not too bad! *g*

sylvanwitch here: Today was a chore day--vacuuming, damp-mopping, some baking and cooking, paying the bills, etc. There was also quite a bit of reading and some solitaire-playing. But, I did write 1004 words on the ambush project.

I just wrote the last 1800 words of the fic I've been arguing with all week. I've written maybe 2000 words altogether and most of the other ~200 were alt-PoV on my WIP meme so I'm not sure they count.

This fic, if and when I complete it, will therefore be the first I've written out of intended reading order.

I did yard work at my mom's house, ugh, weeds, how do you grow so fast?? And all this rain! All this mud! Ugh!

So I'm tired, but managed about 400 words on one of the bingo square fics. It's just dialog. They're sitting around talking about Fate. Sigh. Maybe it would be more interesting if they got... horizontal. Yeah, that's the ticket! Pillow talk. About Fate.

Lol! Weeding and mud--UGH, indeed! Look at you being hard-working and virtuous. *grins* And hey, 400 words are great in the face of exhaustion.

As for your dialogue dilemma...it's been a rare story indeed in which sexytimes didn't change the tenor of a conversation, though not always for the better. Anyway, I hope you get them horizontal if that's where they need to go, and if they can still talk about fate while that's going on, more power to them. ;-)

Excellent! Sometimes, I get into a headspace where I sort of noodle around on this or that, or I freewrite, or I drabble or write a poem--something that doesn't require a heavy commitment, because my brain feels like it needs a breather from all the producing of words. I don't know if that's where you're at right now, but if it is, I can definitely relate. :-)
