ysilme here: still feeling exhausted from lack of sleep due to coughing. I wrote about two sentences so far, I think, and re-posted my pinch-hit story to my usual haunts after the reveals tonight. Not much to show for the day so far, but I hope a bit more is coming forth still.

sylvanwitch here: I finished editing, found a title and managed a summary for, and posted the Bond/Q story I've been working on since mid-December. Feeling good! :-)

One of the things I most enjoy about hosting WED is learning about the way other writers do their work. Your methods are fascinating to me and way outside my own comfort zone. I love when a writer OWNS the process, though, and you are so confident in it. That's awesome!

Also, YAY for that word count! :-)

Thank you! I guess it's just the way my weird mind works best.

Some challenges have a word limit, and while I enjoy the process of editing down to hit the right word count (whether that be exactly 500 words or under 1k), it often leaves me feeling the story is not as good as it could be. I've got one that really needs a smut scene, but the challenge community doesn't allow explicit content so I left it out to write later. I'll get around to it when I'm in the right mood. =)
