ysilme here: meagre 22 words for me today, but we had friends visiting for most of the day, and I'm so tired by now I suppose I'll rather go to bed instead of write some more. But I wrote over 1,7k yesterday, most of it for my first two snowflake entries (which still aren't finished /O\ ).

sylvanwitch here: 584 more words on the MPI story. I'd hoped to write more, but last-day-before-break chores piled on. Still not done with them. *sighs*

this fucker's a triptych. which it probably won't and probably shouldn't much matter which of the three one reads second and which third, because whichever one reads first will spoil the hell out of the other two. but it definitely shouldn't matter (in terms of intensity of experience, or something) which one reads first, and I'm worried that it will.

I am not the lifeline for you. I wrote a novel that turned into an unfinished trilogy, and I'm still not sure which parts go where. ;-)

I mostly worked on my Chocolate Box sign-up until I ran out of brain, but I got in a few sentences on a WIP.

I always think sign-ups, dear author letters, figuring out summaries and titles and such should count twice! They all can get so difficult... *g* Yay for managing something for the WIP on top of that, too! ♥

Didn't get any more words down yesterday but continued the scene today for about an hour, another 737 words. Almost at the point where it runs into the next scene (which will then need to be... tweaked? mostly rewritten?).

I'm sorry to hear that! *hugs* Writing under adverse circumstances can be quite hard, so kudos for managing it at all! Words are words, and 100 words aren't bad at all!

Day 5: My first Sunday of no computer/internet in the afternoon and evening, but I scribbled edits all over a printout of my PWP. :-)
Day 6: Typed up the edits, made another couple of passes through it and sent it to beta. \o/! (Also, I think the word counter in MS Word must be broken -- one sex scene cannot possibly be this long!)

Earlier this year I decided that one of the things I wanted to get more practice doing was smutty writing. I've always had trouble with it, but the piece I started tonight has been almost flying onto the page. I wrote 1127 words and they were so easy. I am still a little astounded.

So I let myself watch the first episode of The Witcher as a reward. Whee!

*g* I feel with you. I'm not a smut writer at all, and over working at improving that I realised I'm demi and simply not very interested in writing it, although I don't mind reading/seeing it or so. Occasionally, I had to write it for a challenge request and, to my own surprise, managed really well with my approach to go for eroticism instead of what some refer to as plumbing instructions, so yeah. ^^
We've just finished the first watching, in German as my husband prefers to not watch in English usually, and he was the one who wanted to see it as he loves the books. I'm going to re-watch it in English now.

Same hat! I swing between demi and a dark grey ace, and definitely it helps to try to focus on the erotic side. 😊 I think about it like writing magic use, maybe not something I necessarily can experience, but still can communicate the feelings in an enjoyable bit of entertainment. At least that’s the hope!

The first episode was fun. Looking forward to seeing more!

I just wrote a paragraph on the solarpunk story, but I did spend some time trying to figure out my Chocolate Box sign-up as well, and brainstormed for a who_contest fic. (I listed all the ChocBox fandoms I'd be interested in requesting and got 12. I need to pare it down, obviously... But which ones to cut?)

Heh, I'm still not finished with any snowflake entries either!

Day 5 - Bit of a bitty writing day, but 1028 words over 5 projects. Finished and posted the fic I started a few days back for an LJ challenge, then wrote 3 Buffy drabbles (one of them a double) and a FAKE double drabble. I'm happy with that, slowly chipping away at my GYWO pledge.

*hugs* About the chores still not done. You got a good word-count, though! I the start in the new work week is going smoothly, though. We're having a holiday in our state, so it feels still like Sunday to me. ^^

So far so good, re: work week. I didn't get much sleep last night (I never do on the night before we return from a long break), but I'm feeling okay so far. And I was prepared, so I've hit the ground running. :-)
