ysilme here: wrote and posted a drabble, and did another batch of fic reorganisation and sifting through files. Added a few ideas here and there, too.

sylvanwitch here: Wrote 289 words on yet another little H50 fic, but it's dark and cracktastic and not my usual taste, so I suspect it's going in the bin tomorrow. Still, words happened.

Thanks. It was an idea that hit me late one night, but it's completely wrong for the prompt I was writing it for and it's for a show I only recently started watching. I'll see what happens on the next episode before I decide what to do with it. It's a gloomy subject but cathartic to write.

March 5 - 1.2k on this fic, which is pretty much all one scene, and I sigh a little over how long it's likely to end up. But that's okay, I've got enough time for it to grow like this. :)

Missed all my customary writing times, but took the notebook away to the bedroom after work and wrote the opening scene for my exchange assignment.

Ugh, hope is both necessary and so painful, isn't it? An alibi sentence is still writing, still a sign of you making a space for writing in your life. You'll get there! :-)

Aw! Still, it's nice to have the opportunity to experiment and play around with not-your-usual-taste things sometimes. :-)

6th: I spent the morning doing mod stuff, but I've added more than an alibi sentence to my fic and am planning to do a bit more now.

It is definitely a good thing to plumb these particular depths. It's not that I haven't written dark stuff before (hello, I'm looking at you, accidental necrophilia HP fic), but the character in this story is mean-spirited in a way that he's not canonically, so it just sits wrong with me. It's an ugly AU, sort of? Mirror-verse, sans the mirror? Lol! Anyway, it's definitely an interesting thought experiment, even if it goes nowhere else.

YAY for modding--SO vital to fandom!--and good luck with getting more words in! :-)

Mar 5 - 100 words on a B2MEM drabble using an instadrabble prompt as well. Did some work on organizing the Days of Bliss piece. It needs a title, but I've got it in order now.

Excellent work! May you find a title without any trouble. I find that discovering what a story wants to be called is sometimes the most difficult part of the writing process.

Day 5: Long and busy day at work for me today, so just 277 words on my main WIP, and 176 words on my side WIP.

Boo for long and busy days, but YAY for words! That's a fantastic combined word count, considering. You rock!

Day 5: About 400 words of... floundering. I realized I had bitten off more than I could chew on the new project I started, so was trying to find ways to make it more manageable (by making a list, what else.) Still working on it!
