ysilme here: I spent about an hour reorganising one of my "catch-all" Scrivener files where I put any random snippet or scrap of writing, so I would actually be able to find them again. Also 100ish words on the crackthewip WIP - I'm still not really inspired writing this beyond wanting to have it finished, but following luzulas method I'll try to write at least 100 words for it every day until it's done.

sylvanwitch: Today was a busy one, so I made sure to make time in the morning for writing, and I'm pleased to report I added 520 more words to "Magic School." I think I'll probably finish it tomorrow.

Day 5: ~500 words of exchange fic 1, continuing to mentally poke at what I want to do for exchange fic 2 (I know which bit of canon I need to review, I just keep procrastinating), and starting to outline the scenes/plot beats of my minibang fic.

You are SO productive! Go, you! I hope you find the motivation you need to do that canon review (if you're ready--no pressure, of course) and that you continue to find inspiration on your various projects.

Haha, it's not so much motivation as that I have sooner deadlines on other things so I'm just going through all of them in order. xD; After the 17th (when exchange fic 2 is due), I'll be like "oh wow I have time to pick and choose what I'm working on again!"

Day 5: Well, after two days of dozing off during my supposed writing time, I have managed another sentence! 51 words this time. Not convinced I like them, but they are there on the screen!

Words are words, even if they aren't always the *right* ones! And GO YOU for writing them! You're making the time for writing, and that's what this little traveling show of ours is all about. YAY! :-)

You're more organized than I am if you're keeping track of random snippets in Scrivener! I always just put the random snippets and assorted fic ideas in the Notes app as, like, one undifferentiated mass lol.

Day 5: reviewed and replied to some beta comments on WIP 1 and made some notes, and just a couple alibi sentences on WIP 2.

ysilme is definitely more organized than I am, too. I've never figured out how to use Scrivener! Lol!

Good work making progress on your projects! Slow and steady, right?

5 March -- Finished the piece for Tolkien Short Fan Works. Wrote up the meta for posting. Need to decide if this wants posting to Fan Flashworks as well. Brainstorming in a shared universe.

I wrote my usual 500 words; total word count 24,700. Some more sniffling...

Day 5: More research on stuff, and a page of musings about the stuff. Is that vague enough? ;-) It was kind of a hodgepodge day.

Ysilme: I hope you make some good progress on your WIP using luzula's method!

Sylvanwitch: Good for eking out some writing time. I need to be better at that and write earlier in the day. I tend to put it off until late at night -- which is fine, except I have to get up in the morning! Case in point: I'm typing this at 2:18 a.m. At least tomorrow is Sunday...

Lol! Vague is totally fine with me; I sometimes jot things on the backs of whatever paper seems to be handy, so I can relate to "stuff." ;-)

Thank you for the kind words. One of the nice things about weekends is being able to get to my writing earlier in the day. During the work week, I'm often tired and hungry by the time I sit down to write, in between getting home and changing gears for the evening, so I can definitely relate to what you say here about putting it off, for sure.

Days 4 and 5 have been doing some other writing, getting a project set up for writing, and doing some sort fills as exercise to keep the streaks going.

It sounds like you're keeping busy and working away at various plates you've got spinning or irons in the fire or whichever old chestnut you prefer. :-) YAY for words and planning and set-up and all the other parts of the process!

Day 6 -- edits on the heraldry piece, finishing it. Lots of discussion, brainstorming and alpha-reading on a shared universe thing.

Great work! Enjoy all the brainstorming stuff--I find that's one of my favorite parts. :-)
