A year ago today, fandom has lost one of the kindest and most generous souls, a terrific writer who inspired, helped and encouraged countless other creators and made a difference for so many. I'd like to dedicate today's entry to all those awesome people out there who give so much of their love, joy, enthusiasm and heart's blood for other creators, encourage, inspire, comfort, hold hands, idea bounce, beta read and whatever else. Without you, so much wouldn't happen or come to be, and so many of us wouldn't be where we are today. Thank you!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

I second that dedication! I received so much encouragement when I started out, all nervous and embarrassed about posting my lame efforts. Without that, I wouldn't still be writing. I try to pass on that encouragement to others now, in whatever ways I can, because we all need that support in order to blossom into the best writers we can be.
