ysilme here: nonfic, 279 words. I'm sorry to be so absent and so abysmally behind with commenting to anything, but the reno job is leaving me totally knackered in the evenings; I'm just about able to get out the tally entry. But an end is in sight! Only a few more days and I'll have my life back.

Yay for your word count, once again awesome! :o)

Thank you! I really need a rest, and thankfully will get one once the flat is officially delivered (? what is the proper term for this?) to the tenants. Another day tomorrow with various finalising tasks, and I think we're done. Sadly, though, these were only the renovations to that flat to let it fully - one of the tenants already had two of the three rooms not in the best state for very basic rent, due to the high demand of accommodation in the city, and we only had the semester break to get the whole into a shape that can be properly let with a good conscience. After this, the main renovations will only start, to convert the upper floor into a three-bedroom flat with full renovations of kitchen and bathroom (including doing new floors, walls and ceilings), in a nearly century-old house where over thirty years nothing has been done, and nothing of quality before. Fun times ahead! ;op But at least I'm confident I'll have more time for myself back again, since I no longer will be plain exhausted every evening with my arms and hands screaming at me from being overstrained. XD

That does sound an awful lot of work. My friend's niece owns several properties that she rents out, and he's always doing work on one or other of them. Some of the tenants have been absolute pigs, trashing the places. I hope you have better tenants and that the rest of the renovations won't be such a massive slog.
