ysilme here: worked mostly on non-fic things today, but got in about 300 words of fiction in even so, and about 700 of nonfic. Now I have to deal with the nuisance of Windows having eaten my touchpad driver so it stopped working entirely... pro: I had the external mouse within reach and the batteries work. Con: I can't get up or change position because Viggo is snuggled against my leg and of course I wouldn't dare to disturb a feline's sleep. But a feline doesn't make for a comfortable mouse pad either... so I'm now running my mouse on the tiny bit of space left of my lapdesk. *headdesk* The things we do for our four-legged tyrants beloved pets...

sylvanwitch here: Of the 79 essays I had left to grade today, I've graded 53, which means I have 26 more to grade. *sighs* I'll probably do half of them tomorrow before we go off for a day o' fun, and then I'll finish them on Sunday, since T. has to work. I have Monday off for the holiday, so I'll get one more day of freedom out of this hell week. ;-) Anyway, I did my writing before the grading because I knew what state my brain would be in if I went in the reverse order. I added 560 new words to Part III of the MPI saga.

ysilme here: 1148 words for me totay, but nonfic only. At least I managed to solve that touchpad issue; the most recent Windows update had told my notebook that it no longer was having a touchpad. Such fun. In the process I've learned quite a bot more of how to fiddle in the digital innards of my device... ^^

sylvanwitch here: We ended up staying close to home because of a snowstorm (which is still raging), but we did get to one of the two parks on the island to walk in the heavy snow, and both before and after our walk, I worked on part three of the MPI story, adding 1461 words today, fully half of them sexy ones. :-)
