ysilme here: 1148 words for me totay, but nonfic only. At least I managed to solve that touchpad issue; the most recent Windows update had told my notebook that it no longer was having a touchpad. Such fun. In the process I've learned quite a bot more of how to fiddle in the digital innards of my device... ^^

sylvanwitch here: We ended up staying close to home because of a snowstorm (which is still raging), but we did get to one of the two parks on the island to walk in the heavy snow, and both before and after our walk, I worked on part three of the MPI story, adding 1461 words today, fully half of them sexy ones. :-)

I have written a journal entry here on DW today (the 18th); I did not manage on the 17th, alas. Hoping to get countable words done today as well, but if I do not, I am forgiving myself as life is totally up in the air right now!

You have to be good to yourself first, and if making words is making you stressed, then by all means, don't worry about them. We're here when you're ready to check in with some, and otherwise, I hope things get better for you. :-)

For the 17th, I got only 10 words but for the 18th, I finished my Slashy Valentine 872 words and got a bunch more done on a picture prompt fic with 955.

Day 18 - Finished and posted the piece for the Cup challenge on Fan Flashworks, and posted one of the January New Years Resolution pieces to the Silmarillion Guild archive.

Determinedly writing an alibi sentence for both Day 18 and Day 19. Tomorrow, I'm going for a walk so I can talk out loud in my characters' voices, to see if that helps any.

Day 18 - 1440 words! One whole 500 word ficlet ready for posting, and the bulk of a short fic for another challenge. I've got plenty of time to finish that though, it's a monthly challenge so I can take my time with editing. I need to focus on something else today with a tight deadline, I just still have no clear idea of what to write =/

Out in the snow sounds lovely to me, although I suppose "heavy snow" in your parts is somewhat different (much worse) as I can imagine it... ^^

It was a lovely, though sometimes uncomfortable, walk. Part of the walk was right along the river, and the wind was coming across that icy water--very shivery! But it was beautiful!

Thank you for the encouragement on the word count, too. I'm definitely enjoying this series, far more than I'd expected I would.

I'm glad to hear you got your tech issue solved (not that I had any doubt in you *grins*) and that you wrote so many words! YAY!

Jan 18: finally sat down to transcribe what I'd written longhand during the week, heavily revising as I went. It only came out to some six hundred words, but it feels like 600 good words, so I'm satisfied.

I also spent a little time on another WIP, one that I hope to publish this weekend, the muses willing and I can find an end for it.
