ysilme here: 212 new words for yesterday, and two sentences for today for the WIP. Not really alibi sentences as things are continuing, if oh-so-slowly; but the current heat wave combined with the need to work outside, partly in the sun, and the uncomfortable temperatures inside (28°C downstairs and 29°C in the bedroom; we don't have A/C or ceiling fans since neither is typical hereabouts) make everything doubly hard and exhausting. At least my veggies are thriving! ;op

sylvanwitch here: I worked again on the flashfic, came to a satisfactory-ish ending, and decided to shelve it for a while and come back to it again later. I feel better about it for the struggle it caused me, if that makes sense. I learned something about writing from doing this. It was the first I'd tried that wasn't fanfiction. I'm going to try again with a new idea when one strikes my fancy. Meanwhile, I will probably finish out those exercise prompts I generated and then see what happens. I also need to get back to sending out stories and preparing finished stories for sending out. And, yes, I need to get serious about sending my most recently completed novel to an editor for feedback. So, you know, stuff. ;-)

ysilme here: alibi sentence + 1,1k of assorted meta. We just had a severe thunderstorm so it's much cooler outside and will be inside, too, once we can open the windows. ;o)
