Yay for editing and EXTRA BIG YAY for the crossover. (I'm a bad influence, I know, but as I noted in an earlier comment, I DO love those relentless niggling stories that just insist on being told. They're the bad boys of the bunny world, and I LOVE them.)
sylvanwitch: Yay, writing exercise! And good luck with the flashfic tomorrow! I hope it goes well.
Couple-hundred words of Lost Honour. Haven't quite found the sweet spot of how to this next chunk of story wants to go yet, but it doesn't feel so much as "stuck" as... in the process of falling into place? (Without yet having fallen into place, if that makes sense.)
16th: 248 words on my WIP, plus an update post. I meant to settle in and write much more today, but I didn't quite get settled, and now I'm out of time. *makes resolution for tomorrow*
Thanks! I didn't achieve very much on the gardening front, rain throughout May has made it a jungle out there, but any progress is better than none. Especially since starting tomorrow we're supposed to be getting rain again for the next week and a half =/ Goodbye summer.
Both of you got words, and are making progress in other ways, too! Good work. \o/
On the 15th, I have: - edited chapter 21 of the poly fic - written 500 words on the new longfic (total wordcount: 1,500) Also I did some gardening. : )
Day 15 meant fleshing out a little bit more of the new assignment story, but mostly putting my words towards trying to build a little bit of queue for my analysis project. It's going a little bit slower because print doesn't lay down flat well enough to be easily put into quotes.
I'm happy to hear writing happened for you on the 14th and 15th! No matter how little and how seemingly insignificant, everything counts, and everything is important for the overall writing process! On another note, can I ask you to please always report your tally, no matter for what day, on the most recent entry? I'm prone to miss comments to older entries as I often just delete all notifications as they are so many during WED, and might easily miss a tally given later on an older entry. Just let me know for which days you're reporting in! Thank you.

Day 15: Almost 1k on a crossover I really don't need to be writing (but is fun), and like two scenes worth of editing on an exchange fic.

Date: 2021-06-16 06:14 pm (UTC)That does make sense. Maybe a little time will let it settle? I know sometimes you have to wait for these things to develop themselves.

Date: 2021-06-16 05:18 pm (UTC)For me (Day 15), about a paragraph worth of words (deleting, adding) on the silly essay, plus a bit of WIP-poking.

Date: 2021-06-16 06:17 pm (UTC)Good work on both counts, particularly with the WIP-poking. I hope that inspires some writing when you're ready for it. :-)
