ysilme here: Day 13: 79 words on the WIP, and I worked out a solution for my issue with this fic: the part I was struggling with was part of the first draft which seemed important back then, but just doesn't fit with the narrative any longer. So I cut it out, letting the chapter end there, and but the rest into an epilogue which works so much better. So another chapter after all, but the end is now really in sight! Edit: After being lured there by cornerofmadness, I also signed up for round 13 of Hurt/Comfort Bingo, got my card and am now exitedly considering the prompts and story ideas. :oD This is SO GOOD.

sylvanwitch here: Post-adulting today, I wrote 586 words on "The Factory," finishing the climactic scene. I have only the denouement to write, and I should be able to get to that tomorrow. YAY!

That sounds nice! I don't have any experience whatsoever with submitting original work/short stories etc.; for one as the only ones I wrote so far were for a given project, but I also don't know if we're even having a similiar publishing/writing culture in Germany. I haven't heard anything similar from those of my writing friends who've attempted or succeeded at getting published. Reading about this with you and others is interesting and educating for me.

Yeah I have no idea how it goes in Germany. I will say there is getting to be a more international feel to publishing (at least Canada/Australia/UK with America)

It's a frustrating process no doubt
