ysilme here: I added about 800 words to my current drawer WIP yesterday, but messed up with the versions of the WIP, so spent my writing time today trying to make sense of it without losing anything of the new stuff. No new words some lost nerves... ;op - but definitely time spent with "writing"! I'm also sorry I didn't manage to comment to any of you in the last few days; the reason is lack of social interacting spoons due to being sleep-deprived. I hope I'll catch up a bit until the weekend.

sylvanwitch here: I migrated another chunk of narrative outline over to chapter six and did my usual adding, subtracting, and polishing up.

I love that you find inspiration in old challenges, though I know that you are "supposed" to be filling newer ones. I just think it's neat how regular and productive you are. :-)

When there's a lack of current (or inspiring) challenges, I do tend to look at challenges I missed, or skipped, in the hopes of catching the interest of my muses. I have umpteen fics I should be getting finished, but I get more words faster with something new. Which is probably why I have so many fics that need to be finished...

Day 15 - been a hectic week so haven't been able to write as much. But was able to set aside some time and some brain space to get to 550 words :)

March 15: I said that I wanted to finish "Langstroth on Bees" this year if I could -- an ACD longfic that is maybe 80% completed, that I drifted away from several years ago. Tonight I pulled it out and revised Chapter 1.

YAY! I can relate to the immense inertia of an unfinished longfic and how difficult it is to regain any momentum at all, so I know that this is a red letter achievement for you! YAY!

Day 15: One AO3 comment and 835 new words on the current fic, w00t! I had been chatting with a friend about how hard it can be to take a scene that you can see in your head and turn it into, y'know, actual words, which reminded me of a saying I saw once about how "it takes so much braining to make the words go." So I was excited about wording today!

Days 14-15: There was another power outage (26 hours this time) at home. At work on day 14, I wrote a new project document, and at home I drafted a blog post while I still had battery life. For day 15, at work I edited the project document and wrote a supplementary document for it.

Ugh, I'm sorry for the long power outage; that's miserable. Go, you, for making time (using battery power) to write! YAY!
