ysilme here: Today I woke to the wonderful feeling of having no urgent things on my to-do list, nothing important to do, which is rarer than I like to admit. If I can I like to read a bit while still in bed, and today was joined by my two furry daughters who insisted on power cuddling on top of me, which in turn created a plotbunny for a fannish Yule ficlet. I wrote about 350 words as a first draft, but don't know yet if this really turns into something.

sylvanwitch: Another day of grading, and I am 1/3 of the way done. The plan is to finish by Christmas Eve, so I have a few days of no work before I have to start doing prep work for the post-break. I also added 979 words to the novel. The words are flowing a lot more eagerly now, as I move into the most fleshed out part of my outline and the last few chapters of the novel. I may need an 8K day like I used to do just to get this thing finished before the new year. We'll see.
