ysilme here: Yesterday (day 10) I added 256 words to my tally on the last chapter of the current WIP. Today's photo and choice of quote is by sylvanwitch. She also choose the last quote while that pic is from me.

sylvanwitch here: Today had far too much adulting, and I am quite over it, but I did finish editing and rewriting the dark portal story, now with an actual title (“The Drowning Mark”), and submitted it, so that’s done, at least.

ysilme here: I was very tired when I sat down to write yesterday, aiming for an alibi sentence, but it still became 246 words of the new chapter. It was essentially rewriting and rephrasing parts I was already mostly satisfied with, so easy enough. ;op

sylvanwitch here: I looked over my "favorites" list on Duotrope to see what might be next for submissions and was reminded that I have to write a one-page synopsis of the weird western novella in order to submit it to a publisher in the UK (it was rejected by the publisher I'd originally written it for). I also added 270 words to "The Factory," which is nearing its conclusion.
