ysilme here: lots of words happened today, but none really writing-related except 29 for the current WIP. They're alibi words, really, as I'm kind of writing unrelated snippets each evening since a few days just to keep my mind somewhat on the fic. I hope the chaos will lessen in the next few days and I be able to properly focus on my story again.

sylvanwitch here: 331 more words on the ghost story while on a break at work. Almost there, I think.

Day 21: Zine words! Also sorting out the summary for my minibang so that I can submit it, which obviously means I'm now just like "noooo gotta wait another whole week before artist claims..." xD

Mar 21: An early birthday present arrived in the mail today, so I spent all my writing time playing gleefully with that instead of writing. But! I did sit down this evening and write an alibi sentence! So I get credit for that. :-P

Oh, gleeful play sounds fabulous! YAY! And you absolutely get credit for the alibi sentence, especially in this case! :-)

Thank you! It is a lot. I had really thought the haunted person was going to be the MC, but it turns out my narrator has something to say about focus. ;-)

Ysilme: Yay for keeping your hand in with alibi snippets. Unrelated snippets is basically how I write. ;-)

Sylvanwitch: Good work on the ghost story! Especially writing bits of it at work. Did you know that Jim Hines wrote several of his novels at work, writing in his car for an hour at lunchtime? That always impressed me.

That impresses me, as well! I've found that sometimes I don't have the energy or right frame of mind to write when I get home from work, so I end up freewriting, which is fine, of course, but if I'm mid-project, it feels like wasted time, sort of? So sometimes, if I have the time and privacy, I'll try to get some words down, and so far, that's been pretty productive and also sort of better in terms of the words, maybe because I'm not tethered to my laptop in my writing room, which I've sort of become conditioned to feel is a "chore space", so to speak? I don't know. I'm probably babbling. Lol! But thank you!
