ysilme here: Today's choice of quote and image is by me. I love it very much, as I had a similar thought process going on when I was told the same sometime in my early writing life. I found it's the same for me for fanfiction; I need to write about what I know well and am passionate about to produce the kind of tales I want, and to enjoy the process.
My tally for the 12th is 193 words on the last WIP chapter; not as many as I wanted but I finally wrote through a recalcitrant bit of landscape description which finally feels right so I'm happy. Now I only need to find the right tone for the coming interaction, which has eluded me all this time...
sylvanwitch here: 387 words on "The Factory" before heading out for another long day of adulting. *sighs* At least I made myself sit down to write BEFORE the exhausting labors of the day.
