ysilme here: Today's choice of quote and image is by me. I love it very much, as I had a similar thought process going on when I was told the same sometime in my early writing life. I found it's the same for me for fanfiction; I need to write about what I know well and am passionate about to produce the kind of tales I want, and to enjoy the process.
My tally for the 12th is 193 words on the last WIP chapter; not as many as I wanted but I finally wrote through a recalcitrant bit of landscape description which finally feels right so I'm happy. Now I only need to find the right tone for the coming interaction, which has eluded me all this time...

sylvanwitch here: 387 words on "The Factory" before heading out for another long day of adulting. *sighs* At least I made myself sit down to write BEFORE the exhausting labors of the day.

I wrote my usual 500 words, total wordcount 55,300. (Also unfortunately I had a political quarrel with my mom, sigh./o\)

Day 13: 600 words. I've put my fave Keith Windham in a very difficult and surprising situation, but I think I've more or less managed to justify the decision he ends up making...

415 words for day 12, and so far, 250-ish words for day 13. Working on a Wisteria Auction fic for the ever-brilliant

alexseanchai. :)

That's a GREAT word count with so much adulting going on for you, and waiting for you today as well. You absolutely rock! *\O/* I just wish the adulting would lessen up for you, and you having more time and energy for yourself. ***hugs***

Day 13: Noodling on some exchange fic concepts, mostly in my head, but a little in a doc in a rather alibi-sentence way :)

For 13 July. Another 1180 words on my Cap RBB fic - it's turning angsty on me! (the prompt pic's kind of fluffy).

I've always loved the perfect confidence in that Le Guin quote.
