ysilme here: some fiddling around with my drawer fic and about 200 words for the blog entry which seems to take forever; not too bad considering today's been another day of unexpected and time-consuming busy. *sigh*
Edit: added some 800+ words to the drawerfic before falling into bed, yay!

sylvanwitch here: I started the day with a rejection of a story I felt really good about and that I’d written for that specific call. Ah, well. At least the rejection note said the story was lovely and they’d gotten many, many stories. Today, I added 471 words to the novel.

Yay for your word count, and thank you! I'm SO glad for drawer fic, as it's what's often keeps me writing also over difficult stretches. I'm not sure why this is making a difference, but just working at _something_ works best for me to keep on track, and not lose faith in myself and what I'm writing.

I wanted to do well yesterday because I knew I wouldn't have much time today. Still hopeful I can get something written, but I was out all morning.

Day 21: Did final edits on the summary and tags etc for my qzgs mini-bang summary submission! Now I just need to wait impatiently for claims and then to learn who I'll be working with for it. :)

Once the evenings get light enough I like to go for a long walk after work on Wednesdays, and so I do my writing first thing in the morning. Therefore I can also check in for day 22 now!

Day 22: Continued redrafting, and reached a point in the chapter that needs a bit more work, where I added a few hundred new words.
