Yay nostalgia project!

Day 19: two pages (about 200 words), I'll take it. I'm ALMOST DONE (enough) with this music piece to do a preliminary mix and MIXDOWN and kick it out the door to the client, I swear my ability to focus on writing will be better after that. :]

I kicked it out the door! I hope the client likes it *wibble* (She preferred that I surprise her with it rather than consult her with piano sketches etc.)

Day 13-19 check-ins

I got overwhelmed and stopped checking in, but I wrote at least an alibi sentence every day and most days I managed a paragraph or two.

I'm sorry things are overwhelming for you but glad you've checked in and that you've kept your hand in with alibi sentences. I hope things get less stressful for you as soon as that's possible and that have time to rest and catch your breath.

I'm back again, after a week with no internet doing forest surveys in northern Sweden!

I actually wrote every day, since I could charge the computer in the car. I edited a section of about 13,000 words and then managed to briefly get internet to send it off to beta, and also I added 1,700 words to the fic, getting it to a total wordcount of 19,400. \o/

ETA: That is: please add me to the tally for days 14-19.

Not much in the way of word count, but much noodling! It's been kind of relaxing, actually, since there's no deadline or pressure.

Aug 19th - a 646-word ficlet, written after spending a sleepless night in A & E, so coherency is dubious. I still feel like a zombie after a night's sleep.

Thanks. Not really okay at all, I'm afraid. Trying to get a dental issue dealt with but the system is so screwed up that it's impossible to get help from anywhere. I'm still exhausted from being awake for 38 hours and spending almost 10 hours in waiting rooms and being led to different rooms on different floors, up loads of stairs because I'm claustrophobic and can't handle lifts.

Oh no, you poor thing, that sounds absolutely horrible! Dental-issue-related pain is the worst already, and then having to deal with getting treatment and waiting rooms and times and such easily doubles that. You've got all my sympapthies, and all the crossed fingers to find help soon and get relief from your symptoms. ***hugs***

Thank you. I'm a stubborn old woman, I gotta write to stay sane.

I have an appointment for a consultation in three weeks, then they'll need to get the x-rays from the hospital, then schedule the extraction. It will be done under sedation, which will hopefully make it bearable, but it's going to cost. *iz tired* Miraculously, it doesn't really hurt, but the infection keeps making my neck swell up, which is uncomfortable.

Day 19: 1,250 words—I just could not stop going on about how much these two love each other <3 And that's part 1 of the epilogue done, in first draft—I think part 2 will be shorter...
