ysilme here: I've been away all day, helping friends with packing stuff as they're moving, and am totally knackered. But I managed to get in about 150 words on the blog post before I left, so writing was happening.

sylvanwitch here: I moderated the student writing club today, and as usual, we did a writing exercise. I wrote a funny little dialogue-only story, complete at 253 words. It probably won’t go anywhere, but I had a lot of fun writing it.

Day 22: Swearing about timelines and determining which incompatible canonical references to time I'm going to ditch in order to make a timeline that makes sense! :D (canon review + math + notes)

Ugh, too many math for me! Lol! Timelines can be so FREEING, though, if you're willing to handwave canon requirements, I find, so GO YOU for freeing your characters from TIME! :-)

xD The thing is, I do find it fun to hunt down canon references to time and figure out if they make sense or not. It's satisfying!

Plus most of the fandom doesn't wanna do it so if I come out of all this able to hand them a reasonably accurate timeline of the year this fic takes place over they're all gonna be delighted about that.

I got myself mostly packed for RevelCon today so a lot of my fan-adjacent writing was a packing list! But I did manage to leave one AO3 comment.

Thank you! And go you for managing words in-between the packing. I've trained myself to literally write every day, if just an alibi sentence, which might happen just some words on my phone while taking a break somewhere, particularly when packing to go away somewhere. ^^
