sylvanwitch here: Today, I spent some time reading submission calls and then picked one, wrote some stuff for the submission form, and sent in a short horror story.

20 August -- I picked up a pinch-hit for TRSB /o\ and have an opening paragraph. I have also been getting older TRSB art into the art post on AO3, which involves rather a lot of html and alt-text writing.

Day 20: Wrote 300 words of werewolf fic; total wordcount 19,700.

I also have a basically completed story that I just need to incorporate the last round of beta notes on, find a title for, and post! But I haven't been doing it--I don't know why, as I like the story and it's not like it will require a lot of revision. I just...lost momentum on that and didn't want to lose the momentum on the werewolf story, I guess? Please give me a kick in the butt and tell me to do it.

Aug 20th - Despite everything, I managed 1200 words, a 1k fic and a double drabble to catch up with challenges.

I am so, so sorry about the dental troubles you're having--that's miserable and awful, and I wish the system weren't this way. I hope you're able to see someone as soon as it's possible to do so!

That is an ASTONISHING number of words at any time but especially WOWZA! when I consider your circumstances at the moment!

Thank you. I have a consultation appointment in three weeks, so I'll have to pay to be told what I already know, but it's a step in the right direction.

I amazed myself. I thought I might manage 500 words for the fic, but when I started writing it took a lot longer to get to the idea I had in my head so I managed the full 1k. Then I had to write something for my drabble challenge Amnesty.
