ysilme here: meagre five words so far for me, but I was interrupted in the morning and fell asleep in the afternoon (first day without coughing since two weeks, no surprise there) and haven't yet sat down to my evening session, so I hope for more to come.

sylvanwitch here: 360 on a sequel to the Magnum fic, prompted by a lovely comment someone left for me. I hadn't thought about doing a series of little fics in this fandom, but the comment led to thoughts, and thoughts led to words, so I guess I'm doing this thing. ;-)

I forgot to check in for the 12th, but I did words. I think most of them were on fanfic. The day passed in a bit of a daze, thanks to Body Doing Things.

Yesterday (13th) I worked more on the said fanfic, though I didn't finish it because my headspace wasn't there. Where my headspace was, instead, was in a potential beginning scene for a new story/universe/thing which I now have an uncounted amount of handwritten pages for. (They could be counted, of course; I don't write so much in one evening it would be uncountable, but I didn't count it yet.)

That sounds totally awesome, though, congrats!

It feels awesome, but it's also frustrating in that it makes it pretty hard to set solid writing goals because it seems as soon as I set any, I get inspired by a totally amazing new idea and write ten pages for it. And then I wonder if I should focus on this new thing, or if that's going to be overtaken by something else by next week. I'm probably going to have to think about these things in the near future, because I'd like to get some longer projects written and don't know what to set my willpowers on.

I hope you're feeling better now; I know you were going through stuff. :-(

I also wish you luck in finding which thing your inspiration wants to fasten itself to. I've had that situation myself and, to an extent, still do, as I'm allowing fanfiction to eat my writing time lately when I *should* be working on a certain ambush project or the project the ambush project ambushed. ;-)
