ysilme here: no words yet for today, the day just run away with me, but in a good busy way. But my Scrivener is beckoning, with the drawer Christmas fic open, and I'm not yet tired. :o)

sylvanwitch here: It was a VERY long and busy day, but in mostly good ways, and though I am sleepy and a little eye-sore from looking at screens for editing of student works, I did manage 1007 words today, the first in a new chapter.

15th: Made beta #1's edits to the action fic, re-polished and re-sent to beta #2. Now I'm going to spend the afternoon watching Kdramas with a friend. ;-p

I wrote ~300 words of ficlet, a couple sentences of a short shipfic, and have been prodding at edits for big bang fic. :)

Check-in: 207 words here, continuing the new story. No time for transcription yet, but the part that needs transcribing is a chunk of a way farther on yet in narrative time; it'll keep.

Thank you! I finally feel being "inside" the story instead of just poking at it, and enjoying writing it, although it's been only a few words so far today. Go you for your own writing of today! :o)

[finally clocking in - day 12 was a bit of a flap all in all, but 500 words in between finishing work and midnight happening. day 13 was another eleventh hour contribution of 400 words, and day 14 something clicked and i got 1200 words in total, following the random thread of day 13s words ]

[you know, you two are great hosts - i just chuckled at the competition comments on my day 11 check-in. i like to use the implication of competition to encourage my wife to kick my ass, as much as possible, cos shes just that cool. the very idea i could actually compete, lmeow~~ ]

It's been a weird day. I did get 215 words editing my Prodigal Son holiday exchange fic and got it posted + 2609 words on a fandom tree story that won't end. sigh

Lol! It sounds like you've been infected with the same bug I have, re: "I meant to write a short story. 60K later, it's apparently going to be a novel." In any case, you are making excellent progress!

Yay for good busy, and having been so productive, and so many words on top of everyhting else! *\O/*
I got a good chunk of writing in after yesterday's post after all, and can report 826 words for me, all for the drawer Christmas fic. It's been the first time of proper story writing since a week or so, and I'm quite happy about this.

Congratulations on hitting your writing groove! I'm so glad you had the time, energy, and lack of distraction for it, hon. I know how busy and difficult life has been for you for a while now. *HUGS* Here's wishing you more words in the near(ish) future (recognizing that there are Things Happening right now that might prevent that).

Thank you! *hugs back* The hard lockdown comes with the hidden bonus of things slowing down - there are a few errands and projects I have to postpone now because I can't get necessary items for it (either because ordering them online isn't possible or makes no sense), and I seem to find more time pockets I can use just for myself, which is a delight. (Ok, the though changes I introduced on my voluntary job workload are also slowly starting to pay off, but it's quite nice to see such a quick improvement.)
