Jul 15: Spent the day deliberating whether to cast this scene from one pov or the other, but this evening I said what the hell and picked one. So far, so good. It's a new-to-me pairing and a new-to-me character, so even in the few sentences I got down, it's been fun exploring his voice and finding out who he is.

Day 15: feeling much improved today, but still took a sick day to rest, but was bored enough to write 2,034 words today!

I wrote on the 13th, 14th, and 15th - a total of about 1500 words. I had thought I'd finish the chapter I'm working on (I left my readers at a cliffhanger on the 11th and I want to give them some resolution) but there just weren't enough minutes in the day. I should be able to finish it up tomorrow, though.

I had to take my youngest to a new dentist today (they aged out of their pediatric dentist and it took us a while to find a new dentist who was in-network for their insurance) so that used up a lot of my mental energy today, otherwise I'm pretty sure I would have finished the chapter.

It's surprisingly easy! I write in the car while we're driving to/from inventory areas. : ) Also yesterday I went back to the car early due to my foot, and got in a lot of writing time then.
