ysilme here: about 600 new words for me, though mostly nonfic (snowflake entries).

sylvanwitch here: I edited and posted part four of the MPI series and started part V, using the notes I'd taken last week and fleshing them out. I have more to go, of course, but at least I have a good base on which to build come tomorrow.

Jan 22: For longhand-on-the-bus time, I made a feint at the story's opening paragraph. I didn't like the attempt AND the connections were all perfect/fast, so when I got to the office, I shut the door and opened my notebook and wrote some more, and I maybe like this version better.

I might try to get more in when I get home this evening, but we'll see.

Oh, excellent! I like when there's a chance to re-do or try something else if the first go doesn't work quite as expected or hoped. I'm glad you had the chance to do that before you had to work; I've sat on things for a whole day of work and find it a miserable feeling. Yay for you! :-)

Day 22 - 300 words, most of them on Caprice, and a few noodling about with the concept of spy for Fan Flashworks.

About 3/4 of a page, longhand. Don't ask how long it took. I think the only way through the latest issues is to write through the whole sequence in chronological order for once and see what does and doesn't fit, but wow am I bad at that.

I wrote another couple of sentences. I am chipping away at scenery description while I am on work travel

This fandom won't leave me alone. I got 1042 words on an unexpected Prodigal Son comment_fic (also brain, comment fic are meant to be short, just saying) + 719 words on Come Undone to finish the scene.

Day 22: finished the fic from yesterday! \o/ it took 2,871 additional words, but I finished it!

I wrote some paragraphs on the ambush project. And something like a sentence on the zero-draft of the short story.

Day 22 - 1253 words on the WiP (which still means all my other WiPs are languishing untouched *sigh*) It still needs another 2 or 3k on the first draft before I start editing and fleshing out scenes, and it's already 7.5K, so heaven knows when I'll get it done. Got to focus on other things for the next few days.
