YAY! I'm a firm believer in doing the one that is coming in the strongest at the time (unless there is a looming deadline, in which case, sometimes I have to eat my desires and do what I'm 'supposed' to instead). I'm glad you put down so many words on it! :-)
I already knew you were the Nerd Queen, my friend, but to be leveled up by your niece? That's a whole 'nother level of awesomeness. YAY for awesome aunties! :-)
Thank you! LOL Although she's not the first one; her elder sister (15) took to nerddom two years ago or so, too, is writing fanfic herself by now, and is sharing my former main fandom (Potterverse), including my favourite characters (before she knew how much I loved them). But with her, it was kind of organic, there never was this clear moment of realisation, so the levelling-up-feeling really happened only now. Go you for almost having the ending, I hope it's all coming together well today! *hugs*
More planning. I focused on my two leads' joint backstory on day 10 and wrote about 1.5K of something that may turn into a prequel short story one day.
ysilme: Congrats on impressing the nieceling, and congrats, too, on snatching 70 words out of the jaws of a busy day!
sylvanwitch: Ooh, hiking! What a delightful way to begin your summer break! And it sounds like the flash fic is coming together. Titles are a VERY VALUABLE word-count-free space for a flash fic!
Me, I've got 350-ish words of fake married working-themselves-up-to-cuddling.
It was absolutely glorious to get out there under the sky and sun! And the park had expanded a great deal since the last time we'd been there, years ago, so it was an afternoon of many delightful surprises! :-)
11th: 424 words on the WIP, plus some pondering. I keep meaning to/trying to outline, but my brain is refusing to produce useful thoughts on the matter, so I guess I'll just keep adding words for now?
Ugh, I feel you. I'm still stuck on the ending. I think I almost have it, but it still doesn't feel right. More pondering, as you say! YAY for words and thinky thoughts!
Day 10: more moving things into the main document, adding new sentences here and there to make it all join up better. Discovered a scene I wrote in stops and starts (and started something like 4-6 different versions) that I'd thought I'd finished, I had not, so finishing that is on the docket for this weekend along with the other fixes on the list. Polled the cheerleaders, two will go with whatever I want and the third just wants me to give her something to read yesterday if remotely possible, so the aim is to keep fixing things until Monday and then send them as much as I have done, as long as it doesn't stop on a total cliffhanger. (It's been 14 months since I last sent them anything, and I don't want them to have to wait another year in suspense, that would be mean.)
That *would* be mean, and it's good that you're being kind instead. I often find that I'm more likely to get something checked off my to-do list if not doing so means inconveniencing someone else. If it's just *me* waiting for it? Well, that's a recipe for disaster. ;-) Anyway, you're making great strides. YAY!
I made a spreadsheet of all of the projects I'm working on/planning on working on! And wrote loglines for a couple of them that are still at the idea stage.
June 10th - 1041 words, a 1k challenge fic (which was one of those things where I got the idea as soon as I saw the prompt and it practically wrote itself), and a smidge of editing, some on the first half of the old fic I sorted out a few days ago, the rest on the other old fic I've been working on since then.
A very belated welcome to the challenge also from me! It's lovely to have you joining us, and I hope the challenge and the community can help you with your goal! :o)

Day 10: 1.2k of fic for the exchange due furthest from now but which had a ship/prompt I was very excited by (it's not done yet, but it'll get there).
