ysilme here: more poking and editing at the WIP as well as re-organising parts and files, so only a few words here and there.

sylvanwitch here: I subtracted a bunch of words from the flash fic today and then added more, so I'm not sure what the total word count is for today, but I am under 1K and almost done. I need to wow with the ending, and it's just not there yet.

June 11th - 1065 words, a 500 word challenge ficlet, double drabble, triple drabble, and some editing on the second half of my fic which is now posted!

Day 11: Meta. So much meta. Perhaps I will get some words of fic in before the day ends, but the meta stuff was really good fun and tossed at least one potential fic idea for later at me, so I don't mind if it ends up being all the writing I do today. :)

ysilme: Poking and editing are harder to measure, but still important parts of getting the piece written!

sylvanwitch: Honestly, I've been kinda amazed these last days that you could keep track of words added and deleted. Good luck on figuring out what you need to hone that ending to wickedly sharp!


Today I mostly spent helping my wife celebrate her birthday, so there was only a little bit of writing, about 200 words worth. Tomorrow I'll come back with a fresher brain and see what I can do with them. But in the meanwhile we had an excellent day, which is the more important thing.

Days 10 and 11 have involved writing more on the work presentation, along with deciding that a character that is being hit on has seen this routine before and is cutting straight to the chase rather than waiting for someone else to finally say directly what they've been saying indirectly for a while.

658 words on my prodigal son exchange fic and hard edited my novel adding in some 113 words so good day

12th: 1826 words on an exchange treat (about halfway, I think? new things are so much easier than wips), and 204 words on my WIP, which ugh, I don't know what I'm doooooing. /o\

I have edited chapter 17 of the poly fic, and also posted the short fic. And did a little outlining for a future fic.

ETA: Also I had a great new idea for another future fic!

Day 11: a few more sentences. Things aren't feeling so terrible! I'm putting my sentences toward a ficlet inspired by one I wrote a long time ago. I'm not sure where it's going, so it can stall badly, but when I can get a few sentences a day on it, I like what's going on. :D
