ysilme here: 1,6k for a blog entry, plus a bit of sorting around through some fic files. I really do need to do some housekeeping with these!

Day 29: I wrote about 1.2k this morning, before it started getting hot, and then I managed very little the rest of the day but that's okay :D

I'd like a day where I can just have a good couple hours to write and I'm not getting that. Today was a bit of trying to catch up from my yo-yo trip down to my parent's/old hometown. And the heat.
But I got a few more words in for my fic, another 108 words to be exact, and with those words I think I've gotten the gist for the ending of the fic. Needs to be cleaned up and put into real words, but I've at least captured the idea of it enough that I can do something with it in the next draft.

Contrats to those with some 1k+ word days! That is some good writing you've gotten done :)

I am sending you all the consecutive-writing-hours vibes I can spare and hope that you get that time you need. It can be exceptionally frustrating to WANT to write but be unable to because of circumstances outside of your control. Oops, somehow I fell behind on checking in again. But I did write (varying amounts) every day, so here's my check-in for days 21 through 29.

It rained a bit here, making the weather a bit cooler and aiding my productivity. 1,244 words on that short story. I think there's about the same number of words left to wrap it up, give or take, so that will be my goal for day 30!

Days 28 and 29 were still hot, but I did manage to get more words down on new assignments and clear out most of the tabs that I have been sitting on, waiting for my brain to want to work on them. It's always nice to have enough things on your plate for your brain to choose whichever one it actually wants to work on, and do get reasonable word count out of it.
